The only thing about scite i know is,
it is scintilla based as Notepad++ is.

This might be a smidge- a SMIDGE late, but SciTE now comes with a powershell definition file. Just go Options, Open Global Options File, search for powershell, and find the second entry (around line 585 by default). Uncomment and restart SciTE and you're good!
